Since 1997, the brand has successfully sustained two branches, with the flagship store having firmly established itself in Cavendish Square. Its sister branch opened officially in 2005, and recently relocated to Main Road Sea Point for maximum visibility. Each branch has its own dedicated loyal clientele following and has become one of the leading distributors to both Bank’s, Woolworths and various hotels and restaurants within the Western Cape.
Maya was primarily trained by her father Vernon Bremridge, a veteran in his own right and owner and manufacturer of Nutri-Stahl Cookware, which produce some of the highest quality stainless steel cookware locally. Having originally commenced her career in hospitality, Maya promptly realised that there was a definite and distinct niche in the marketplace to supply hotels and restaurants directly with their extensive and durable cookware range.
