MALNOR is a leading publishing company specialising in trade and technical magazines serving both the public and private sectors.
The company was established in 1973 and publishers trade and technical publications including Government Digest, South African Provinces, Cities and Towns, Wood Southern Africa, S.A Builder, Education Southern Africa, Commercial and Industrial Property News, Shopping S.A and Export Import South Africa.
Company description
MALNOR is moving in that direction, with a staff compliment of 62 permanent employees of which 42% are from previously disadvantaged groups(Blacks,Coloureds and Indians). The Company also has training in place for the historically disadvantaged employees which is in line with the Skills Development Act.
The company has also employed two people from previously disadvantaged groups as Group Heads of two departments as part of its drive towards achieving the set DTI’s scorecard of Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment, and also as a way of introducing black PDI’s in the management and decision making processes of the company.
MALNOR has also assisted and formed a sister company - GTM Computer Surgeon cc/Rainbow Cartridges which is 66.6% black owned and operating from Malnor's premises as part of its empowerment initiatives.
