Learning e-Varsity was initially operated as a training division for Sepelang Training and Consulting, which has been operating for six years. Due to the growth in the e-learning industry, we saw a strategic advantage of having Learning e-Varsity operate on its own; it was then registered as a separate, independent and self-reliant entity. This has acted as a catalyst for the growth of this division.
The need for providing accessible, affordable, technology-enabled training services has been one of the driving forces behind the establishment of this on-line, e-learning model. The founding members of this company have been active in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Training industry for a collective 20 years. During this period, they have been involved in activities that range from dealing with private individuals, corporate and government sectors. With this experience, the company has a solid base of varied (ICT) and Training skills that will take Learning e-Varsity to greater heights. Learning e-Varsity is particularly committed to the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) policy and believes in the drive to empower the historically disadvantaged individuals and communities.
