Description
Laurie Active Dance teaches Jazz Dance in a (lyrical and hip hop style) Jazz dance is dynamic, expressive and explosive in nature. Making full use of the basics of ballet dance technique learning beautiful jumps and turns to be in either fast or slow paced music.
Our classes are an hour and a half in length for the 8 years and up where children also undergo strength and flexibility training needed for acrobatics. Children can also take on a solely acrobatic class were the children just work on solely tricks.

Laurie Active Dance follows a Canadian Dance Syllabus "ADAPT" and a Canadian Acrobatic dance syllabus - "Acrobatic Arts"
Laurie has trained in dance and teaching since a very young age. Having overseas teaching experience in China and Canada and professional dance experience at Sun City, Taiwan, Music Videos and Commercials.
Our main goal is for children to grow in their love for dance by having regular showcases, yearly dance competitions. For children to grow in their confidence and body image through the acquiring of a new skill through dance. For children to become fit and disciplined in the area of dance and self control.
