I had an extremely disappointing experience with Lavita Designs. They took advantage of my elderly mother who had recently sold her home and moved into a retirement village at 72 years old. In her pursuit of a fresh start and to leave behind the memories of my deceased father, we contacted Lavita Designs, who made all the right promises but failed to fulfill any of them. After waiting for two long months and constantly following up, we received a substandard table that was far from what was promised. When we pointed out the subpar work, Daryl acknowledged the shortcomings and offered to replace it. However, another 6 weeks passed with no communication, leaving my mother exhausted from waiting. She decided to ask for a refund of the R4400, which was the final payment for the table. Daryl, who constantly reminded us that "small work is always a hassle," shockingly refused my mother's reasonable compromise and is now blatantly ignoring our calls. What was supposed to be a fresh beginning has been thoroughly tarnished by Lavita Designs. Thank you for this, Daryl. We have documented all the text messages that support the above statement, highlighting the company's unprofessional behavior and complete disregard for customer satisfaction.
