La Gratitude strives in making a difference within the community by initiating various projects in both rural and urban areas to assist the previously disadvantaged and vulnerable groups.

The beneficiaries include the elderly, youth, children, HIV infected and affected individuals of all race groups.
Project Initiatives Undertaken:
Provision of subsidised meals for the elderly in the urban community.
Basic medical and clinic care services both urban and rural areas.
Training facility for home-based care givers.
Developmental services for people infected and affected by HIV/Aids.
Sickbay facility providing temporary affordable medical care for the community.
Underpriviledged Children's Christmas Party (Rural creches).
Month of the elderly promotion rural & urban.
Luncheon club - vegetable growing sustainability project.
Soup kitchen for Newcastle street children.
Thembilile Childrens shelter - luncheon club.
Rural creche stationary drive (Sakhisizwe, Ingogo, Normandien).
Training facility for the unemployed (decor, catering & domestic services).
