I am often asked “what makes teams that excel so different from all the rest? How do some teams consistently get great results, while others always seem to get the short end of the stick? Why is it that even when we have the best resources, employees, desire etc. we are still not able to deliver the results that are required from us?"

My answer as a high performance coach, motivational speaker, father and adventurer while consistent is simple, Absolute certainty. The single greatest difference between a group and a team is that a team has absolute certainty of what they are required to deliver shared as a common vision between all the team members. They are in other words able to self express. They experience a "fit" with the overall plan.

With certainty comes clarity of purpose, message and an understanding of the characteristics or building blocks required to achieve the required results. A team displaying certainty finds themselves united in delivering their results by claiming their future vision and objectives today. No amount of passion, commitment, energy will assist a team in achieving their objectives if they do not share an absolute clarity and certainty of the vision and accompanying objectives. This however creates awesome passion and self expression.
