Description
Klipspringer Lodge is situated between hills and savannah at 1000 metres above sea level and offers a fascinating view over the valley and surrounding mountains in the distance. Far away from the hustle and bustle you can enjoy nature and its various animals. The top of Mount Bekker, our very own mountain with a huge granite rock, can be conquered on a 3 hour walk and you meet Kudu, Nyala, Bushbuck and Duiker
and with luck you can also spot the shy Klipspringer and hear the calling of Baboons. At the top you get that distinct "Out of Africa" feeling standing in awe of the landscape.

The couple from Switzerland offers their guests pure Africa. Those who experience their hospitality inclusive of spectacular sunsets and first class service at Klipspringer Lodge feel like they are in paradise from the first day on and yet they feel at home!
You can take a walk in the bushsavannah with acacia trees, natural springs and streams and meet with Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Blesbuck, Giraffes and various Antelopes. There are also numerous birds for bird lovers as well as butterflies and the flora and fauna with its rich assortment of flowers, bush and grasses is a pleasure for any nature lover.
During the summer months from November to March the weather is warm up to 35 degrees Celsius with a cool breeze due to the altitude and thunderstorms also bring relief from the heat. During the winter months from June to September it hardly ever rains and temperature reaches 25 degrees Celsius during the day and
at night between 5 and 15 degrees Celsius.
