Description

Klerksdorp Aerodrome (FAKD) is the ideal recreational and training aerodrome. There is no controlled airspace, no fly zones or built up areas directly around the airfield that may restrict flying activities. Nor are there any obstacles such as power lines, high trees etc. that may pose a hazard to low flying aircraft.

Company description

Situated only 140 km from Johannesburg it is very accessible to pilots from Gauteng, Free State and the whole of the North West Province.

Microlights: Klerksdorp is a very active Microlight aerodrome with nine resident aircraft and a flying school. Please be on the lookout for student pilots in the circuit and the immediate surrounds.
