Kist Company sells traditional kists and furniture. Solid wood timber and MDF is used for the boxes and high quality genuine leather and nguni hides are used for the lids. Various designs are manufactured and custom made. We pride our selves in quality furniture and extraordinary service. We accept cash payments and 4 month lay by. Kistco has a branch in Pietermaritzburg (head office), Durban (Kwamashu), Empangeni, Tugela Ferry (Msinga Valley) and Newcastle. Our vision is to supply high quality kists and furniture into an expanding African market with special attention to the African bride who is the ‘truso’ and requires a kist for her traditional wedding and other related bedroom furniture for her home.
Our company comes from small beginnings but has expanded into other areas quickly and we are excited for our JHB branch which will open mid 2019.
