Occupational Therapy practice with a passion for assisting those with disabilities, and/or work-related challenges, to return to a fulfilling and productive work life. Services include disability assessments (Functional Capacity Evaluations) to determine fitness for work; as well as intervention to assist individuals to return to work without limitation. Disability assessments can be requested by an employer, insurer or an employee who may be having difficulty at work. We offer case management to monitor access to health care and the return-to-work process. Kirsten Beukes Occupational Therapists offers low cost return-to-work rehabilitation for Injury on Duty/Workmen's Compensation patients through the Workability practice network. We also offer ergonomic assessment and intervention in order to minimise posture-based pain and injury amongst employees. Additionally, we offer medico legal assessment and report writing for medical negligence and road accident claims.
