K & P Lohmiller German Bookshop, Randburg

My experience with the said bookstore has been rather disappointing to say the least. this book store is said to be the stockist for various textbooks required for various curriculums. unfortunately, coming up to the end of the school holidays, many parents and scholars were trying to prepare for the academic year ahead. The store was inundated with parents frantically trying to obtain the needed books, only to be constantly left waiting long periods of time to be assisted. My experience in all the chaos was loaded with the despairing situation that many of my required books out of stock and 'ON ORDER", the store was just waiting for the stock to arrive, six weeks later I still have not obtained what I need and when I ask the staff, I get non committed responses as to when the "ordered stock' will arrive. I have been given many answers, ranging from the end of the week to six to eight weeks. Funnily enough, when I ring the suppliers myself it is said that the delivery only takes 4 working days from order date. Seems like K & P Lomiller aren't particularly interested in replenishing stock as promised to desperate parents who are concerned with their children's education. If the store is not interested in stocking particular books then they should make that clear so that parents are not fed nonsense and don't waste their time. I found the staff to lack professionalism and product knowledge, not to mention their prices are rather high in comparison . one very unhappy customer!!!!!!
