This company is a fraudulent company!! After finding their details online, and receiving a quote, we paid over R30,000 to purchase a specific generator from them. The moment that the payment was made, they disappeared! We couldn’t get a hold of them telephonically or via email –in fact, they pick up their phone and listen without answering. After further research, we discovered that even their company registration and VAT numbers belong to another unaffiliated company, and are being used in other scams. The company details; contact details, address, details of the company itself are different on each directory JDI appears on, as well as on their website. Total frauds! We then drove out to the address on the pro-forma. There is no company at that address – the neighbours confirmed that they had never even heard of this company. The address that appears on their website is actually situated in the middle of Stellenbosch winelands, with no businesses in the area at all. We have reported the matter to the SAPS, but feel a duty to warn others of these scam artists. Please be aware!!
