Jacksons Ceilings Partitions and Access Floors, Durban

I have rented a flat from the above mentioned Mr. Jackson Govender from September 2009 on a 12 month contract in Ferndale. It has been over 2 months now and he is refusing to refund me my deposit. He has come up with 3 different stories so far. First it was that the electricity bill jumped up alot. Then he said I moved in August 2009. And now he is saying that he didn't get paid for 1 month. I have all the documents confirming the 12 monthly payments as well as a payment for the deposit. Now he is passing the buck saying that his estate agent didn't pay him and I must get the money from her. The fact is that she was acting on his behalf as his legal agent and i should not be have to incur a financial loss because of some internal problems that they might have between them. I have paid everything in full and he should refund me my deposit as per contract and the law!
