Company description
ilala country lodge is situated on an escarpment overlooking the Limpopo River Valley and with a sweeping view deep into Zimbabwe. The lodge is 5 km from the N1 Highway to the North and is 8 km Musina town. The reknowned World Heritage Archeological Site of Mapungupwe is conveniently close for an enjoyable day visit. The lodge is constructed with stone & thatch, blending perfectly into the bushveld surroundings and is located on 240 hectares of unspoilt Mopani-bushveld. Various species of game and birds are present and bush walks are permissable. Several prime examples of the gigantic Baobab tree are also present on our estate. A leisurely swim in our large pool, accompanied by an enjoyable barbacue at the pool-side lapa braai is a definite possibilty. For the photography enthusiast ilala country lodge offers the perfect venue to capture winning pictures, including amazing sunset-settings.
