Ikhwezi Industries (Pty) Ltd was started in October 2001 by three ex-employees of Nampak, Ian Ferguson, Brian Mills and Ralph Sitharam. Brian and Ralph have since retired.
The company was originally formed to supply an outsource function to the paper packaging industry, but has subsequently grown to encompass many different products and industries.
Ikhwezi’s main customers include the paper convertors, sugar industry and general paper industrial consumers.
Ikhwezi has seen consistent growth over the years, both in turnover and staff and we now have 43 permanent employees.

Ikhwezi Industries (Pty) Ltd supplies goods and services to the paper and broader packaging industry. We stock and supply various grades of imported and locally produced paper, including sack kraft, virgin and recycled kraft liner board, white top liner and other speciality papers.
We have paper and board converting equipment, which is used to slit/rewind and sheet for the paper industry.
Ikhwezi also manufactures sewn paper sacks under contract to the paper bag and sack producers, as well as supplying sewing tape to the charcoal, maize, flour and sugar packers. Ikhwezi supplies valve paper to the cement sack producers.
We attach plastic handles onto paper sack and bags as well as supplying the woven polypropylene sack manufacturers with plastic handles.
