Horizon Cottages is one of the neatest and cleanest self catering accommodation we have ever stayed at. We were surprised to learn that this business is 11 years old, as it looked and felt like we were staying in a brand new development. The Captains Cottage is an affordable, lovely and spacious 2 bedroom cottage which was fully kitted out. Conveniently, even beach towels were provided (which is rare for self catering). The gardens and pool area are in pristine condition. Dennis made sure that our stay was comfortable and hassle free and for this very reason, we will definitely book at Horizon Cottages when we visit Noordhoek again. You can be sure to expect prompt and professional service right from the word go -

We were a group of 4 adults and one 8 year old child from the UK and had a cottage and a cabana for 5 nights. Ample space and a very relaxed setting which is handy for both the city and other destinations on the Cape. Plenty of local eateries nearby (The Toad was our favourite) and a large supermarket just a couple of minutes drive away. Dennis was an excellent and knowledgeable host and we will certainly use Horizon Cottages again on our next visit to Cape Town. Highly recommended for those wishing to avoid the hassle, high prices and hustle and bustle of the city.

Thanks for your hospitality last week. The sunset from our stoep was superb and the peaceful surroundings was also a bonus. The cabana is well thought out, absolutely fantastic decor and the King Size bed and bedding made us feel like royalty. We enjoyed the restaurants and scenic surroundings close by, didn't have to drive for hours to enjoy it!! We will certainly be back.

Our family found Horizon Holiday cottages to be an ideal base for our Cape Town holiday. The rates are very reasonable and the kids loved the spacious grounds in which they could play.

Bosuns Cottage; furnished in African Colonial style with antiques and original artworks, sleeps 4 people privately in 3 bedrooms; 1 King size bed, another with ¾ bed and a further single bedroom; Ideal for a family with 2 children or a single parent.
Captain’s Cottage; breezy beach cottage sleeps 4, 1 bedroom with King size bed, 1 with twin beds. Dining room is separate. Bathrooms have bath with shower, vanity and toilet.
Our Cottages have open plan, fully equipped kitchens. There is a door from the lounge to the covered stoep facing a private garden with a bbq area where kids can play in safety. The stoep has a table/bench set where you can relax outdoors and enjoy the spectacular sunsets for which Noordhoek is famous.
Self catering Cabanas: popular choice of romantic couples, have spacious bedroom with King size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower; lounge area, fully fitted kitchen and breakfast bar with fridge, stove and microwave. Sliding glass doors open to private deck with spectacular views of Noordhoek lakes, and open into the garden, pool and bbq area.
