Description
Bees removed are used for both honey production and pollination services. Some swarms are transferred to associate beekeepers for immediate use. The African Honey bee, Apis Melifera Scutellata, is a species that we find in Southern Africa and is known to be extemely aggressive and will defend it's nest with vigor.It is common for these bees to invade urban areas - taking up residence in the many suitable areas.
