this locale is one of the top bars in cape town, capturing the eye with its informality and irie vibes; the waiters are agreeable and reflect the vibe of the customer, if your a cool guy you'll make some friends with the staff; family run and independant this place takes no kuk from unruly drunks or a****** customers, this magical place is an iconic british pub and is not for everyone. great memories to be had here gents.

4 friends and I had lunch at this establishment on Sunday 15th April 2012, Unpleasant and Unfriendly staff, as for the fries, well you cant really call them fries, dry cut patato tossed in a pan. I had the steak egg and chips, the waiter did not ask me how I wanted my steak done, and after it arrived, I had blood pouring from the steak, no thanks. I asked the waiter to toss it back for 1 minute on each side,When it finally arrived +- 15 minutes later it was cold, dry and tough. When we asked for the bill, my friend got the hairy eyeball and so did I. Sorry HOBNOBS, you lost 5 clients in one go!!!
