Description
Hillhouse Accommodation consists of 3 houses on a 70 Ha farm, with sweeping views of Midmar dam and the idyllic Midlands countryside. This is a perfect venue for large groups of family and friends, sleeping up to 28 people in all 3 houses. The converted farm shed is the most unusual, and welcoming venue which sleeps 12 people. Lakehouse is a smaller house which sleeps 4 and ForestHouse a large new double storied house which sleeps 12.
Company description
Hillhouse is private, has plenty of space, all the necessary comforts, and lots of style. There is a large open fire places, with ample wood provided for each house, as well as heaters to keep you warm in winter. The kitchens are fully equipped for self catering, and there are braai (barbeque) facilities available. Hillhouse is also available for conferences, workshops, or simply a big celebration. In the heart of the KwaZulu Natal Midlands, top restaurants are abundant and Midlands schools are in close proximity. With beautiful walks on the rolling hills, buck, bird-life and tranquil surroundings one can retreat, relax and unwind. The 70 hectare farm has ideal cycling terrain and at Midmar Dam, only a few kilometers away, one can fish, sail and water ski. Midmar Mile swimmers and other sporting visitors will find this an ideally convenient location. This is a spot where the entire family can play.
