Highlands Country House has 14 en-suite air-conditioned rooms all of which are either garden or mountain facing. Although extremely spacious, the rooms are luxurious, gracious and intimate. We try our best to give all our regular guests the opportunity to sample all of our rooms by upgrading them at no extra cost, whenever it is possible. Four rooms open onto the garden on the ground floor. Eight rooms are on the first floor with two large delightful loft rooms on the top floor. The bedrooms are equipped with all the necessary modern conveniences to ensure complete satisfaction and pleasure. Each room has satellite TV, mini bar fridge, safety deposit box and WiFi connectivity extending throughout the house and the grounds. Ten rooms open onto large private balconies. Being a boutique hotel we can offer custom menus for midday or evening meals. We have a resident cordon- bleu chef who is available daily to discuss these requirements, and we pride ourselves in arranging any private dining functions on behalf of our guests. Because Highlands lies in a very sheltered area, most meals, for long periods of time during the year, can be taken outside overlooking the lush lawns and putting green on the East side and overlooking the Italian garden and fountain on the South side. When not staying in for meals there are several really excellent restaurants in close proximity to Highlands covering a wide spectrum from Bistros to elegant Haute Cuisine.
