Description

Hi-Q Countrywide - great deals on quality tyres, exhausts, shocks, brakes and batteries.
On September 2009 Hi-Q celebrated its 10th anniversary. The franchise network has grown at an exceptional rate, from inception to a household name, in only one decade.
When we started in 1999 there were only three Hi-Q stores in South Africa; today there are almost 180. From a franchising point of view, the growth of the Hi-Q network has been phenomenal.

When Hi-Q first opened for business, we decided to go about things a little differently. Because we work on their cars, our customers needed to truly trust us. It’s really the only way to success. Our quality service makes customers return again and again.

We fit only South Africa’s most trusted brands – quickly, affordably and safely. You see, at Hi-Q we never take our eyes off what’s important: your safety, and that of your passengers.

Company description

The fact that our network consists of independently owned franchises, means that each Hi-Q store will go beyond the call of duty to ensure a customer’s satisfaction.
So when you’re looking for real value, fast fitment and expert service, there’s only one way to go: the Hi-Q way.

In the last Retail Awards survey by media group Avusa, Hi-Q achieved a first place position in the tyre retail segment – a fantastic 44% better than its closest competitor.

In the coming year Hi-Q will expand its horizons by opening a store in Dubai – the first in the Middle East!

WHY CHANGE TO ALLOY WHEELS?
A set of alloy wheels improves the appearance of a vehicle allowing it to stand out from the crowd.
Alloy wheels reduce the unsprung weight of a vehicle fitted with standard steel wheels, giving you more precise steering as well as a nominal reduction in fuel consumption.
Alloy is an excellent conductor of heat, improving heat dissipation from the brakes and reducing the risk of brake failure under demanding driving conditions.
Using the “Inch up Principle” when buying alloy wheels, improves steering response and road holding, especially when cornering. The “Inch up Principle” simply means increasing the diameter size of the standard wheel fitted by the manufacturers to your car.

When converting your car wheels to a larger size, certain technical information needs to be considered:
It is very important to understand the principle of conversion: the larger the wheel, the larger the tyre which inversely lowers the tyre profile. This is because the original rolling radius of the car cannot be changed. Rolling radius is the distance it takes for the wheel to make 1 complete revolution. In other words, if a car has a rolling radius of 2.050 mm, after changing the wheels and tyres the radius needs to remain 2.050 mm. The whole car from brakes, suspension and the gearbox is set up for this.
