We're located within controlled airspace which gives students the experience necessary to build the confidence needed to fly anywhere in the world. Our general flying area is located about 15 minutes away which enables us to make the most of the training at Uitenhage Airfield; with 4 different grass runways, tar thresholds, slopes and confined areas to train with you'll build the confidence and skills to earn your wings. In the very unlikely event that we have limited visibility here in Port Elizabeth, we simply train on the threshold of one of the runways here that's not in use. There's rarely a day that we're grounded...the tower and your flight instructors work to ensure you get the flight time you need!

The flying possibilities are endless...with our general flying area less than 15 minutes away it's a breeze starting up in Port Elizabeth and receiving clearance from the tower to head to the GF for training. Being located right on the coast of the Indian Ocean we're awarded with amazing opportunities to fly coastwise to Jeffery's Bay for whale watching and lunch - not to mention the inevitable dolphin sightings. The Tsitsikamma Mountains, about 20 minutes away, create amazing high altitude training opportunities. If you can imagine it...it’s possible!
