Headline Leisure Management has been a dominant player in the Food & Beverage outsourcing industry for the past 10 years. During this time HLM has focused on Casinos, Hotels and Theatre business, allowing the clients to focus on their core business being gaming, beds and production while HLM provides the “value add”.
Company description
HLM was first established in 1999 by Fournews Developments (Pty) Ltd, for the beverage management at Carnival City Casino on the East Rand. This initial contract was undertaken as a joint venture with the Compass group.
Further contracts have been established nationally, and are detailed within this Website.
In October 2005, HLM became a true South African company with the sale of 50% of its Shareholding to a 100% black empowerment company.
The remaining Shareholding is owned by Fournews Developments (Pty) Ltd which is the parent company of the successful South African brand, NEWS CAFE and the newly established CAFÉ FINO, there are over 40 News Café outlets and 5 Café Fino’s. Fournews Developments also owns and operates the highly successful manufacturing and central kitchen, FUSION FOODS and has a share in DANESI COFFEE (SA).
The dynamic fusion of these organisations provides Headline Leisure Management with a constant flow of creative and innovative ideas.
Headline Leisure Management believe that their ultimate strength is in their investment in people, this belief carries through to all our operations.
This ethos is evident in our insistence that each unit has it's own training officer on site and that all senior management participate in outside educational programs.
