Hannibals Car Wash, Cape Town

I've tried most car washes in Southern suburbs, but Hannibals seems to be the most satisfactory. The R199 'special' is worth it. My car had loads of brown specs on it, after TLC from Hannibals, it looks good again - give it a try!

On Sunday 25 November 2012, my car was washed at Hannibals, Cavendish. I opted for the superwash (R250). I’m highly disappointed in the quality of service at that price. The mags were not clean – simply touching the mag leaves black dirt on my hand. The centre console and boot still has sand in it. I had a look at the car when I collected it and had to ask why some parts were not cleaned. A guy with a cloth made some meager attempt but to no avail. In light of this, I’ve also had a look on the internet (hannibals reviews and hellopeter) wrt reviews about hannibals car wash – as a first time customer, I will not be back.

Bad wash! High price and terrible cleaning of the inside of the car. Sorry, cannot recommend.

I had a mini valet done at the branch in kennilworth and was very disappointed. They couldn’t get marks off my car and made minimum effort in trying to do so, more concerned about closing shop. If I knew it would have been a rushed job I’d left it for another day. My car was supposedly polished but it was still wet. Don’t know how a wet car can be polished. Lack of simple etiquette for example straightening the mirrors, neatening the seats etc. The mini valet cost me R130, usually R170.
