Description
Gundle through its three factories and five distribution centers, is one of the largest manufacturers of a diverse range of flexible plastics in the sub Saharan region. Their product lines include agricultural film, construction sheeting, consumer packaging, dam lining and industrial packaging.
Company description
The manufacturing plant extrudes wide width sheeting for the construction and geosynthetic membrane markets. Products for the construction market are used mainly for damp and waterproofing. Gundle API is the market leader and the Gundle brand is widely specified by architects and quantity surveyors. Gundle is the only manufacturer in South Africa that can extrude film wider than 9 meters. Wide width sheeting in agriculture is used for covering greenhouses, silage and lining farm dams. The Gundle brand name is well known in the farming community and is associated with quality. Gundle API had developed a range of SABS mark bearing products, and has recently started manufacturing foil laminated membranes for industrial and domestic roofing applications.
