The Green Goods Philosophy

We love the planet we call home, who doesn’t right? That’s why we’ve gathered a bunch of (locally produced) non-serious people committed to delivering a seriously green online store. For reals!

So welcome to our beautiful online world that we’ve filled with hand picked green products and brands. The green movement can be a confusing cat! We find that with some companies, you get the feeling they’re just using the environment as a marketing tool. With others it’s all so bean-eating, tree hugging hippie it hurts.

For us, however, it’s simple. We believe that every little green decision helps. That is why we’ve made sure that every single product listed on this fabulous (if we do say so ourselves) site is ethical in some way, be it Fair Trade, local, natural, organic, recycled, reclaimed, vegan, vintage or veggie. Buying green means that you can look good, live well and feel great knowing your choice was made with respect for people, animals and the planet.

We make sure we practice what we preach. That’s why we recycle absolutely everything we can (even staff!). Sometimes, it’s almost in spite of ourselves: to make coffee, we have to jostle with stacked cardboard ready to be recycled. Look in the loo (no, really) and you’ll find biodegradable handwash and earth-friendly detergents. You won’t find a standard lightbulb in the place; they’re all energy-savers. We’re looking into green elves, running on little wheels to provide all our power too. We’ll keep you posted…

On a final note, we appreciate trying to consume more consciously in order to place a lesser burden on the environment is a two-way process and to improve we need your help.
