Glyde-X Recliners manufactures and sells premium motion recliners factory-direct from our showroom in Eikenhof, south of Johannesburg. Our range covers leather and fabric recliners, recliner lounge suites, corner units and home theatre seating. Buying direct from the factory means no retail markup. Nationwide delivery available. Company description

Glyde-X Recliners is a South African manufacturer of premium motion recliners, operating from our own factory and showroom in Eikenhof, south of Johannesburg. We have been building furniture since 1990.

Because we manufacture what we sell, you buy at factory prices with no retail middleman between you and the workshop that made your suite. The same team that makes the frames, cuts the fabric and does the upholstery is the team you deal with.

Our range includes:

Leather and fabric motion recliners
Manual and powered reclining action
2-division and 3-division reclining sofas
3-piece lounge suites and L-shaped corner suites
Home theatre and cinema seating
Single reclining armchairs

Recliners are built on hardwood frames with screwed joints rather than stapled chipboard, and we are open about exactly which leather grade and which mechanism goes into each model. If you ask us what a suite is made of, you get a straight answer.

Our showroom is open to the public and every model on the floor can be sat in and reclined before you commit. We deliver nationwide.

Trading hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:00, Friday 07:30 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 16:00, Saturday 09:00 to 13:30, closed Sunday. Please note the Friday midday closure if you are travelling to us.
