German Motors, Jeffreys Bay

We took our VW Campervan to this garage after being promised that they could fix an electrical problem and getting it ready for roadworthy. After 2 month and endless promises to fix the van we were still left with no van. We finally manage to get the part they needed on internet. When we told them why did they not try to find the part on internet, they told, that they dont have the time. Finally after PAYING them R 4500 we took our van to the Roadworthy testing station. The new front light they put was not set right, the handbrakes light kept on flashing. The gears still did work right. We than took the van to K*** E***** who fixed the problem.When my husband moved the van, the drivers site door started smoking (German motors fixed it apparently). We phoned German Motors and as we could not drive it to them, they said they would send somebody around to have a look at it, as we could not drive the van smoking) Nobody turned up. We contacted another Garage just to explain us how we can drive the van so we can take it to the garage without the van burning out. They explained to us what we must do in the meantime.It will go for repair next week. Every time we visited the garage German Motors to find out how they were getting on with the van, we never saw the van. Eventually we asked them were the van was and we were told that it was their house!!!!!!!!! Our experience with German motors was horrendous. The owner is extremely rude, there is no after sale service. We do not recommend this garage as they have a' could not careless' attitude
