The company undertakes the manufacture of a comprehensive range
of low and medium voltage switchgear, including motor control centres, main, lightning, medium and small distribution boards, power factor control boards, programmable controller cubicles, Eskom and School Kiosks and any
Meter Boards to specification.

Gem has been audited and approved by various Consulting Engineering Companies,
major mining houses and contractors in South Africa and beyond our borders to
supply distribution boards.
Low voltage switchgear and control gear assembly, manufactured by Gem Switchgear have been tested and approved by SABS high current laboratory in accordance with SABS IEC 60.439:1999 for type tested assemblies.
The company's mission is to be a leading, profitable, high quality manufacturer of specialized distribution boards.
