Gearlocks 2000 CC, Kempton Park

Very unhappy. Charged me R2500 for a starsound radio with installation and the trimings. Whent back for the areal twice and they had no idea how to earth the areal and charge me R450 extra and just said after sorry and gave my R450 back. Now i have to pay some one els to fix it. I also found out the same Starsound radio is selling new for R500. They spend less then an hour to put it in and i was charged R2500 an can't listen radio only usb music. What a big rip off.

Waited for a quote on an aircon fitting. Wanted to charge R5000 on a new unit when only a new costs R3500. Refused quote, only to find they had smashed my windscreen both bottom corners. They had pushed bonnet up too far, too hard and it smashed the windscreen. Now only paying my insurance excess. They should pay for a new windscreen out of their own pocket!! When a friend of ours collected my car for me, they denied the damage and my vehicle was left over night at their premises unlocked. NEVER TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR VEHICLE.

If you are thinking of having a radio fitted at Gearlocks 2000 Kempton Park rather consider another place. Their workmanship is terrible. Below is a list of problems that our vehicle had after they got hold of it: 1) Radio sticking out, not pushed in properly, 2) Centre console scratched and hole cut for the radio way too large, 3) Centre console hanging off, 4) Rubber between window-screen and bonnet hanging off, 5) Speakers hanging off, 6) Electric windows not working anymore, 7) Car left in a tip, 8) Car worked on in the rain, seats and door panels were damp. Whatever you do dont go there. They charged us R1980.00 for that and we had to pay another R500.00 to a auto-electrician to fix the wiring that they screwed up.
