!!!!Fraudulent Practice!!!! Store was approached in good faith and good intention to purchase goods. The attendant swiped my card on a speed point machine and the transaction was pending approval. Amidst the approval or authorisation process, he proceeded to disconnect the battery pack of the speed point amid a pending transaction. The transaction went through and notice recieved on my phone. The management have posted a disclaimer which is against the CPA and NCA as well as no approval from Caltex SA, that if thier machines do not produce a slip they recognise the transaction unsuccessful although sms notice recieved from my banking institute that the transaction was successful. The management therefore bestows that responsibility to the consumer although the consumer relies on a secure connection through thier banking institute. The management therefore holding the consumer responsible for the disconnect between thier speed points and the customer banking institutions. This is criminal to hold the customer responsible and is regarded as fraud without leaving much to anyone's imagination and advise consumers / motorists not to visit this service station as they will initiate the same procedure that is not warranted or condoned by Caltex SA. Ultimately although the funds have been off your account, Caltex Forest Drive Denies this or does not recognise the transaction and expects you to repay for your goods. These type of institutes must be boycotted due to their arrogance and lack of customer centricity. Manager is totally naive , disrespectful and requested that I should leave the store due to the fact I pointed this out. He had no grounds to exercise the rights of admission under the pretence of my valid argument. Watch this Space Caltex Forest Drive...I am not Done with your illicit ways and for your perception that we are criminal as consumers
