Freschissimo Pasta is an Italian Manufacturers and Supply Company founded in Johannesburg since 2005.
Our company is a Central Kitchen, situated at 56 Marlborough Rd, Springfield 2190 - Johannesburg.
We supply various Franchises and Restaurants, Col Cacchio Pizzeria as well as Pronto Restaurant, just to name a few.
Our business is based on trust of the owner and staff, service, punctuality, quality and daily freshness. Our secret to success is the traditional mamma’s recipe passed down through the generations. We are very proud and grateful for the peoples support.
Our products are free of soya, colourants or any other preservatives. We only use genuine ingredients. All the products are supplied frozen unless requested fresh You’ll be able to find a vast range of pastas which are handmade.
Company description
He comes from Naples, South of Italy and he has been living in South Africa since 1966, where he started working. He opened up his first Italian restaurant, then a pizzeria called “Giovanni Trattoria & pizzeria” in Southdale Shopping Centre, where he met his wife Angela Stoppa.
She comes from Polignano a mare, South of Italy, and she has been living in Johannesburg since 1971. Angela started working for “Trattoria Fiorentina” in Braamfontein as a chef for twelve years, then she continued to work for the famous actor, Totò’s daughter’s restaurant “Rugantino” in Plain Street until she met Giovanni.
In 1996 Giovanni decided along with Angela to form a Central kitchen, where they started to supply Pick’n Pay Corporated Store in Gauteng and Pretoria, having a great success. At present they have an over 500 square metre factory at 56 Marlborough Rd, Springfield 2190, since 2005. They supply the Cappuccino Franchise and Col Cacchio Pizzeria as well as Pronto Restaurant, just to name a few.
