Description
Forest Town School provides comprehensive educational, skills and work readiness training, medical, social welfare, therapeutic and primary & specialized medical services to children and youth with complex disabilities between 3 and 22 years of age. The organisation was established in 1948, serving 350 beneficiaries. As a registered NGO/PBO, donor funding supports about half the annual budget. Donors qualify for tax exemption and BBBEE scoring.
Company description
Forest Town School was the first school for disabled children in South Africa established in 1948. Since then the services provided by this school and supported by Forest Town School Foundation Trust Fund, go far beyond of just being a school.
