All the banks are doing the same thing, to include ABSA and Standardbank. I would be surprised if NEDBANK or the smaller banks are not in on the involuntary/ forced membership drive. It is not only for moneygram, they also do it with other transfer providers. SA needs a regulation to address this, which may be a Herculean task given the banks' influence over politics globally.
