Description
Edutak was established in 1989 with the mission to empower women from the rural areas and informal settlements with early childhood education and entrepreneurial skills in order to run early learning centres and to provide quality learning programmes to the children of their communities.
Company description
Edutak operates in Gauteng, North West, Mpumalanga and Limpopo provinces. We respond to communities’ requests that we train there.
Edutak has permanent and part-time staff members. The trainers train at Edutak and away from home. All trainers are qualified assessors and there are four moderators.
Since 1989, 4 638 women have been trained in ECD practice and management. 100 285 children have benefitted. 876 women have attended workshops on HIV / AIDS and Child Abuse since 2000.
