Ebandla Hotel & Conference Centre, Sheffield Beach

I would like to preface this review with the fact that these individuals are fraudsters. If you can take anything away from this it is STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! They are disgusting and humiliating to work with. They have no people skills and have LIED over and over again. They have misrepresented information and plain down right lied about EVERYTHING!! we trusted these people and they literally s****** us over! THEY ARE DODGEY FRAUDULENT LIARS! It seems that S***** is the one who sits on the thrown and makes people like B****** and N**** to do all her dirty work. A wedding is supposed to be a happy time and I have received nothing but lies lies and more lies. They are arrogant and inconsiderate people who are out to make life a misery throwing around their whims and fancies, they have no respect and thus i am left with DISGUST DISAPPOINTMENT AND SCARED TO DEATH WITH SUCH UNPROFESSIONAL LIES. I URGE YOU IF YOU DO GO THERE TO MAKE SURE YOU GO WITH A RECORDER AND A LAWYER. I called Ebandla in December and spoke to an individual by the name of B****** - i asked if there would be outside catering allowed on the premises and I was pleased to know it was. I followed up with the phone call with an email confirming my date for my wedding to be held at the venue to my shock I had to call them to set up a meeting with one of the banqueting staff who happened to be a lady by the name of Nelly- I confirmed my date of the function and the catering situation once again. On my arrival at Ebandla in February everything was in array - the meeting was far from formal and to my absolute DISGUST they had given my date to someone earlier that day! I still agreed to move my date to the SATURDAY since I thought it was worth the move. I was faced with further disgusting and fraudulent behaviour when N**** looked at both myself and my mother and LIED! saying they do not allow outside catering AND NO ONE HAD SAID THAT! I asked to speak to a manager by the name of S***** N****. I was told she would call me as she was not in. I called in every day for a month and got no response where they kept making every excuse why I could not speak to her. March: I once again arrived at the premises and asked to speak to S***** where they tried to lie and then she came out by mistake! She told us she was very busy and could not speak but maybe in an hour - ONE AND A HALF HOURS PASSED! she came out and again agreed that she would allow our caterers and then left our meeting again. As she left we went to pay the deposit where once again S***** called in B****** and told him do not accept the deposit because she will no longer allow the catering - THIS WAS ALL WITHIN A MATTER OF 10 MINUTES! May: Again we went through the whole process and set up a meeting with our caterers and her to speak about the food. AGAIN SHE TOLD THEM THEY WOULD BE ALLOWED TO DO OUR FOOD! We once again called in to find out an update of the food - B****** TOLD US S***** WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE CATERER AND WILL BE USING THEM FOR ALL MUSLIM WEDDINGS! we need to set up a meeting with all of us to confirm everything. we were ecstatic and sent our invitations into production! June: I was out of the country and ddi inform them and therefore we agreed to confirm a date on my arrival. The day i arrived back in Durban I gave them a call B****** once again refuses to let me speak to S***** and says he doesnt know about any meeting. This followed up with a call saying no outside catering will be allowed again and thats that. you can not speak to S***** and he puts the phone down.
