Description
I am HPCSA registered clinical psychologist, accredited psychotherapy supervisor & service provider for professional continuous education. I have fifteen years of experience as a supervisor and over twenty years of experience as a psychotherapist. Currently I am in a private practice with Dr Benn & Associates at the ADDnova Clinic in Blairgowrie. I am also accredited yoga teacher.
Company description
My professional career began with a psychology degree that I completed in 1988 in my home country Yugoslavia. In 1990 I attended training in cognitive-behavior therapy from the University of Oxford, Department of Psychiatry, UK. In 1991 I completed a year course in family therapy under the guidance of Dr Elsa Jones and the Cardiff Family Institute, UK.
Subsequently, I moved to South Africa and in 1993 I completed HPCSA requirements to register as a clinical psychologist. That year I accepted a post at Coronation Hospital. In 1994 HPCSA approved my overseas professional experience and accredited me as a senior psychologist for the purpose of supervision. That year I joined private practice of Dr Benn & Associates on a part-time base. In 1997 I became a head of Coronation psychology department.
