In August 2013 I had a corneal cyst which ruptured. I had holes in my cornea which caused my eye to leak - also excruciating pain. The rupture left scar tissue which in turn left me 100% blind. Three ophthalmologists said it was better to remove my eye. The last one however said Dr Attenborough should have a look at it. Dr Attenborough then proceeded with the first operation although prognosis was not good. My cornea was so weak that the stitches pulled out. He then performed a second operation, taking it to another level. He cut away the scar tissue and stitched in a cornea with 20 stitches. I am comfortable (no pain) - I have vision in my eye. Besides for being a fantastic doctor he is a gentleman that develops a relationship of trust and professionalism. All of the work Dr Attenborough did on me was at Groote Schuur Hospital, he donates his own time to the greater good of medicine and mankind - a rare quality found in todays world. I am forever thankful for his help and look forward to check ups. Forever Grateful - Anthony

My practice prides itself on thorough, patient-focused care, using the highest quality and technologically advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. I enjoy building relationships with patients and derive personal and professional satisfaction from helping patients achieve the best clinical results possible.
