He has written this to help you understand the anatomy of your breasts, the options available to you and what can be done reshaping the droopy breast, reduce the enlarged breast, augment the small breast or in the case of a mastectomy to reconstruct a breast.

He did extensive research on the blood supply of the breast, presenting many papers at local and international congresses and developed the procedure of internal breast support (internal bra) for Breform™, one of the most recent developments in aesthetic breast surgery.

He is a highly respected member of the Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons of South Africa (APRSSA) and serves on the membership committee of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).

At present he is in private practice and hold a part-time appointment in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as an extraordinary, senior lecturer at the University of Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa.
