Department Of Home Affairs Alexandra, Wynberg

Please do something about Home Affairs in Alexandra. The staff do not take us seriously and often assist customers while using their cellphones, which causes unnecessary delays in service. Yesterday, on my lunch time I went there simply to collect my ID, but I had to wait for three hours. It is unacceptable to spend such a long time waiting for a service that should only take a few minutes. We deserve to be treated with respect and to receive efficient service. Please investigate this matter and ensure that staff members focus on assisting the public instead of being distracted by their cellphones while on duty.

My appointment was from 11h00 to 12h00 unfortunately I didn't get any help they were not following the appointment schedule. They just let people skip the queue.I was only given a number at 13h15 ,took the photos at 14h15 I had to wait for a long time until I decided to leave without any help and now I have to book again
