At Damelin East London we have a motto “you can’t be a student without having fun!” We therefore provide students with a wide range of social and cultural activities throughout the year.

The SRC (Student Representative Council) is a student elected body which represents all the students on campus. They are also responsible for organising social functions as well as fund raising initiatives for local charities. Their exciting year starts with a team-building weekend away which kick-starts the social calendar.

Our KRAAL is the social hub of our campus! We have fantastic equipment to ensure that breaks are never boring. Our tuck-shop ensures that students are able to eat and drink at reasonable prices while enjoying social interaction with the rest of the campus.
