Clearfreight (Pty) Ltd currently has three offices in South Africa, namely Johannesburg, being the head office as well as in Durban and Cape Town. Our coastal offices, i.e. Durban and Cape Town are ideally situated in Queensmead and Montague Gardens respectively providing easy access to both Customs and harbour personnel. All our offices are interconnected electronically as are our agents in East London and Port Elizabeth. Clearfreight is a well established and financially stable company and is a member of the South African Association of Freight Forwarders with a network of local and international agents, to service all your requirements on a door to door basis. We believe that the success of our company can be attributed to the exceptional service levels that we provide our clientele and their subsequent loyalty to us. We offer both “Bond store” and “Free store” warehousing facilities with container handling capabilities. Our own transport fleet is utilised for the delivery of cargo from the Airports and Container depots. Amongst the services offered by Clearfreight, we are linked to the Compu-Clear system which is utilised by more than 80% of all freight agents in South Africa. For Airfreight imports, in particular, shipments are pre-cleared electronically which we obtain from our worldwide agency network, which eliminates storage costs and unnecessary delays in delivery. Seafreight shipments are treated on the same basis by our various controllers.
