Company description
Johannesburg is the financial powerhouse of Africa and CityVarsity’s Jo’burg campus was launched in 2006 in response to the growing need for quality media and creative arts education in the city.
The campus is strategically positioned within reach of a broad spectrum of JHB CBD users and close to the SABC, the national broadcaster. It is situated in the thriving cultural precinct of Newtown among numerous media industries including film, television and music production companies, as well as multimedia and information technology firms.
CityVarsity Jo’burg has ongoing partnerships with Trinity Session, Network BBDO, Sound & Motion Studios, Half Loaf, Carfax and other hip, youthful brands. These connections enhance the student experience significantly.
Students enjoy round-the-clock access to the main campus and student resource centre and our high-tech equipment and facilities meet industry recognised standards.
It is an exciting, expressive and multi-disciplinary learning environment and just the place to launch your creative career!
