Description
Back in the 80's the cost of the stands varied from R3000 to R15000, depending on the quality of the sea or lagoon view - going for a song even taking inflation costs into account
The development of further areas is already happening and the stands are selling like hot cakes. This, together with the prospect of other land to be developed, makes Chintsa one of the fastest growing resorts on the East Coast of South Africa.
The present owner/ principal is Mrs Anne Merryweather who purchased the business in March 2000 and she has recently taken on more agents to assist in the expanding market.
Apart from the obvious responsibilities of an estate agent of handling the buying and selling of residential properties along the coast line, Cintsa East in particular, the business also handles the transaction of farms in the nearby vicinity.
The agency also leases houses both on long term and during holiday seasons. Maids to clean the premises and to help the lessees are arranged.
