Chris de Jager Architects operates under the following guiding principles:

All PEOPLE are equal in their own right and as such deserve the same respect and dignity no matter what their
status.

Architecture is the spatial envelope and environment in which PEOPLE live, love, work and play. Every project will be approached with passion, in the knowledge that the product will ultimately impact on PEOPLE.

The success of a building lies not only in its appearance but also in its detail, response to the environment, and response to the needs of the PEOPLE for which it is designed. Buildings shape our living environment and will ultimately shape us and future generations as PEOPLE. Buildings will be designed as an inclusive process with the client at all times so that clients learn and understand the background and processes required to achieve aesthetical, functional, environmentally responsive human living spaces that reflects good architecture.
