Chislehurst Guest House, Johannesburg

All our suites are fully equipped, with tea and coffee making facilities, fridge and microwave, crockery, cutlery and glassware. Each has a desk with complimentary WiFi, a seating area, king size bed and dressing table with hairdryer. They also have flat screen television with DSTV, and radio. There is airconditioning/heating, and a safe for valuables.

All rooms have a lovely ensuite double bathroom, with large bath, separate shower and bidet. We provide a selection of top of the range toiletries and robes and slippers are provided for guests' comfort.

Suites vary a little in size. A camp cot is available on request. All rooms have separate entrances and are very private. We have two garden rooms. The Foxbury Garden Room and the smaller Sydney Garden Room, which has a private balcony. Guests have access to all facilities at Chislehurst, including the lovely thatched lapa by the pool, which is where the bar is situated, and where there is a dining table for al fresco meals, weather permitting. This is where the ice maker is situated, the wine cooler, radio and television and iPod docking station.
Breakfast is normally served in the dining room, from 7am, and includes cereals, fresh fruit salad, fresh juice, a selection of teas and coffee, and a cooked breakfast to order. Guests are requested to inform us of any dietary requirements on booking. We are able to cater for gluten intolerance, halaal meals, and vegetarian options.
