Carpenters Inc., Roodepoort

Be warned: This company goes under two names: Carpenters Inc OR Carpenters Corporation. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company or this scumbag of a man! I believe, after reading more reports on HelloPeter.com, that he is busy with suspicious activity. They only display the good side on their website by saying: "Read our Compliments on hellopeter.com" I approached him early in December to make a small, wooden box with wheels. I phoned him and he said that he would be able to meet my urgent deadline. I went to his house to discuss everything and drop off some of the material. I paid the full amount of R1080. A day later he phoned and said that his daughter was injured and he needs to go to hospital. He didn't even start the work and I repeatedly requested my refund. J.. is NEVER in the office or at home. Every time I phone him, he's either in Midrand or in Pretoria or not at work. I've been to his house a few times and he's always out and leaves empty promises. I'm going to open a case at the Police Station to try and resolve this matter. I want my money and material!

We approached Carpenters Inc. to effect repairs to our built in cupboards. Two of the doors had fallen off, an they accordingly refitted all the doors in 3 bedrooms with new hinges and secured all shelves. Their workmanship was excellent, and we found them to be prompt and efficient in completing the job. We recommend their services accordingly. ROB VENTER - WILROPARK SATISFIED CLIENT
