Description
The Cape Wine Academy boasts a range of entertaining and educational wine courses aimed at the public, travel and tourism industries.
Tailor-made wine tasting events are available for corporate groups. The enjoyment of wine is enhanced by having knowledge of the vines and the way the wine is made, as well as the ability to assess it correctly.
Company description
courses are presented by winemakers, Diploma graduates, Cape Wine Masters and people actively involved in the industry, including some of the leading winemakers and viticulturists in the Cape. In 1979 The Cape Wine Academy was founded in Stellenbosch, South Africa, with a view to providing a greater awareness and appreciation of South African wine. The concept had the immediate support of the local wine and spirit industry as well as the general public. The Cape Wine Academy is recognised by the wine industry as its official general wine education and training body .
