The kitchen is fully equipped to serve 8 people if you want to entertain guests. The private garden has a free standing barbecue outside and a built in braai inside. The lounge has a view of Table Mountain, Robben Island and Table Bay. In season one can watch the whales and dolphins from the garden or walk down and sit next to the sea.

A few restaurants (On the Rocks, Ons Huisie) a bistro cafe (Blouberg Café) and the Blue Peter Hotel with a sun deck are all within walking distance of the home. Unique to Bloubergstrand Village is Blouberg Island that separates Big Bay and Small Bay. At low tide the sea reveals a dry sand course allowing you to cross on foot to swim in one of the many rock pools or just sit in the giant's chair and marvel at the wonder of nature.
